  My sweet mother-in-law passed away the week before Christmas. We waited until after the holidays to hold the services. The funeral director told us to meet them at the church and they would be there 8:15 to 8:30 AM to set up. The viewing started at 9:00 AM and they didn't show up until 9:00 AM. People were already there and waiting. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. The hardest part, they did not record the funeral. We arranged for the recording, we paid for the recording. We have no idea if it didn't work or if they simply forgot(no one was able to tell us what happened.) We were devastated. I have a son that was unable to attend the funeral and he was already having a hard time, not being a part of it. The hardest part, when I called the manager he said he had heard there were problems(I'm not sure why he didn't follow up or call us first) and I expressed our frustrations and he said he would look into it. That was 3 weeks ago and we haven't heard back. Very disappointed with their services and their customer service. This is our 3rd funeral with Sundberg-Olpin, the other 2 funerals and services were great....we have no idea how this went so badly and why so many people dropped the ball.

  We couldn't have been happier with the loving service we received from Sundberd-Olpin Mortuary at the passing of my father. Every person we dealt with was loving, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. They all exceeded our expectations at every turn. They made a hard experience so much easier. Terri and Kelly were beyond amazing. They took care of every detail.

  Sundberg-Olpin was very helpful both before and after the funeral. They were professional and excellent to work with. I highly recommend them.
